Verandering van rijmodus van Dynamisch naar Rain lukt niet meer?
Er wordt overgeschakeld naar Road en niet Rain?

Lukt ook niet vanuit de Road modus naar Rain Modus.

Lijkt erop dat functie disabled is ?
Ik lees zojuist dat een S1000XR tijdens inrijden eerste 1000km softwarematig op rain staat, je kunt dan niets anders kiezen.
Dus misschien is er een bitje omgevallen in de software ......
Het lijkt mij tenminste dat dezelfde functies en sensoren input en output geven op verschillende modi.

Kheb ff wat gezocht , onderstaande is van K1600GT :
“There is a damping setting on the 2019 that can be swiched between Road and Dynamic. This is different than the pre-load setting of single rider, single rider with luggage, or two riders. Post 2, above, is showing a page from the manual to set this damping setting. The page after in the manual might show how to turn the Dynamic Traction Control off (it will come back on each time the bike is shut down and restarted). This part of the manual was very confusing to me when I first got my bike, as this section mentioned DTC but didn't talk about setting the modes. If you go further back into the manual (I'm at work and don't have my manual with me and I know the one I am looking at online may be a slightly different year with different page numbers) around page 111 (section 7), you will find the D-ESA Electornic Chassis and Suspension Adjustment options. This is where you can change between Rain, Road, and Dynamic. The fact there are two damping settings called Road and Dynamic can be very confusing when trying to access the D-ESA settings of Rain, Road, and Dynamic and I had found myself initially frustrated at trying to figure this all out. So...DTC must be "on" and the wonder wheel used to change between Rain, Road, and Dynamic and the change to this D-ESA settindg will not take effect while the bike is moving.”

Even voor de duidelijkheid: het probleem draait om de rijmodus (bediend met de Mode-knop op de rechter stuurhelft), niet de afzonderlijk te kiezen setting van de dempers.

Bij die laatste heb je inderdaad (ook) de keus uit een Road- en Dynamic-stand, om het lekker verwarrend te maken, maar dat moet je expliciet in het menu oproepen, en dat lijkt me hier niet van toepassing.

Het daadwerkelijk wijzigen van de rijmodus na selecteren via de knop gebeurt pas nadat je de gashendel helemaal naar de nulstand draait. Doe je dat niet binnen een paar seconden na selecteren, dan handhaaft de fiets de bestaande modus. Dat is de officiële methode; koppeling intrekken schijnt hetzelfde effect te geven. Als het je wel lukt om met de Mode-knop tussen Dynamic en Road te switchen, dan zit daar in elk geval het probleem niet.

Dat zeggen ze ook in dat draadje:

If you are trying to set the Rain/Road/Dynamic throttle mode while moving, I think the clutch must be pulled and the throttle rolled all the way off - beyond the spring loaded stop, like what will disengage the cruise control (without touching the clutch or the brake). The throttle will not go there just by releasing it, you have to actively turn it beyond the stop.

However, you should be able to "select" Rain mode, but it doesn't take affect until you do the clutch/throttle thing - within some time limit I think. otherwise it stays in the currently active mode. Odd that the Rain mode doesn't even appear if the button is pushed though. You aren't confusing this with the wonder wheel selecting the suspension Rode/Dynamic?

Dus misschien zit hij in het verkeerde menu ?

Mijn veronderstelling is dat TS de veerinstelling verwart met de rijmodus.
Veerinstelling doe je met de draaiknop links.
Rijmodus met de knop bovenop het rechter knoppencluster.
Om het nog verwarrender te maken.
Als je rijmodus Rain of Road kiest, dan gaat de veerinstelling automatisch op Road.
Kies je rijmodus Dynamic, dan gaat de veerinstelling automatisch op Dynamic.

Met de draaiknop kan je dat vervolgens wijzigen.
